Are there any set up or tear down charges?

Never. That is part of our service.

Are you licensed and insured?

We are a legitimate DJ business licensed in the state of West Virginia and we carry liability insurance. We operate in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, Central Maryland, and Northern Virginia.

Do you belong to any professional organizations or trade groups?

We are a proud member of the American Disc Jockey Association and attend many bridal shows.

Do you have backup equipment?

Yes. Even with great, well-maintained equipment, we believe it’s important to be prepared, just in case.  Right alongside our primary system we have a backup system ready to go.  We even keep a second backup system on-site as an extra precaution.

Do you have references that we can contact?

Yes. We will be happy to provide you with references from our many satisfied clients upon request.

Do you provide a written contract?

Yes. We provide a contract for every event. Contracts are very important. A contract will ensure everything is set for your event. You will know what you are getting, the date your event will take place, and the cost for your event.

Do you use professional equipment?

Yes. We use nothing but top quality equipment.

Does the DJ know the proper etiquette for my event?

We have performed at all types events and weddings are our specialty. We know the etiquette and will work with you to create the event of your dreams.

How far in advance do I need to book your services?

The sooner the better.  Obviously, the closer it gets to the date of your event, the more likely we will already be booked.  Occasionally we are able to accommodate clients on short notice, but don’t count on it.  Some clients book our services as far as a year or more in advance.

How many years of experience do you have?

We have over 25 years experience in the entertainment business.

Is your music edited?

Yes. All the music we purchase is edited. We do not buy nor would we play explicit music. Our music is always tasteful and appropriate for the event.

What do I need to do to book D&M DJ Service?

A signed contract and small retainer is all that is needed to secure our services for your event. Early booking is advised.

What does your service cost?

Cost is influenced by several factors.   Since every event is unique we need to know a bit about your needs in order to provide you with an accurate price.

What geographical areas do you serve?

We operate in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, Central Maryland, and Northern Virginia.

Will the DJ be set up prior to and be ready to go at the start of my event?

We come early to set up and will be ready well before the event.

Will the DJ be suitably dressed for the occasion?

Yes. We will work with you on what attire you desire. Most often that would be tux attire.

Will you provide a free consultation ahead of time to discuss the itinerary and music selections?

Yes. We will work with your schedule to arrange a consultation at a place that is convenient to all to discuss all the details of your event.
